- Discuss chapters 2-3
- HW: Review Proverb and vocabulary handouts. Read chapters 4-7 and write a paragraph summary of each chapter. Summaries should include the main events, settings, characters, and ideas. Keep practicing active reading with post-it notes. And practice your poem for recitation on the day you return from break (January 4)!!
